PATIENT AND METHOD Patient of 8 months of age with 0,16 of Visual Acuity of in both eyes that comes to the Low Vision Service to follow a program of Visual Stimulation. All developing areas are worked making emphasis on receptive and cognitive ones through different plays.

RESULTS The results obtained have been positive and we could verify that the patient improved and increases her reception of forms, colours, objects, recognised perfectly her body, participates actively in the play, works her psychomotricity without fear, all using her peripheral vision.

CONCLUSIONS It is easy to observe that the training of the residual vision is optimum if it begins in an early age. The desire of "to see" is over the limitation that has. Working on the perceptive area is fundamental for the management of daily Life activities and its subsequent learning in the school and in tasks of reading and writing. Besides teachers, parents and other professionals contribution is also fundamental to obtain the objectives predicted.
